During excavations of Clachtoll Broch lots of sherds of Iron Age pottery were found, and now we’re going to try to make our own! Join us on Monday 25th or Wednesday 27th of June between 3.30pm and 6pm, meeting at Clachtoll Beach Car Park. Local craftspeople Fergus Stewart and Marc Campbell will use local clay to recreate Iron Age-style vessels, which will later be fired in an experimental ancient kiln. Drop in for as long as you like – all ages welcome! If the weather is wet, we may retreat to Stoer Hall.
Pottery workshops: Monday 25th and Wednesday 27th June, 3.30pm to 6pm Firing: Monday 2nd July, Stoer Green
